What on Earth is a series of concrete sculptures that explores the
idea of conformity and performance in its material. The sculptures are conceptualised and created to inquire into the formal character of concrete, each of them manifesting into a unique treatment and textural application. The artworks juxtapose strength and delicateness, rigidity and movement, complicating the way with which concrete is
perceived and exists physically.
The artworks take a ubiquitous and banal material and translate it into new perspectives and interpretations, reinvigorating a conventional element into progressive forms.
