Displaced involves the artist in different levels of engagement with his environment, the seascape, being at times, at the edge, at times partially submerged and in some other situations, fully engulfed by this fluid material. Due to this amorphous and constantly changing quality of water, the artist is forced to reassess his relationship with this space, and at the same time investigating the interaction of this site with the surrounding, especially with the horizon.
