Tanjong Goodman Openhouse
Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. Between black and white embodies the alternative, a potential of dreamscape that colour never can, a nuance of grey and more grey that nothing is ever so black or so white.
An endurance into the inquiry of In Art Do We Trust, Project Tanjong Goodman utilises Singapore’s perennial territories to further explore the in-between-ness of our surroundings. Inviting individuals to endeavour into a conscious experience of co-creation, contemplating and compromising with the momentary elements to take ownership of the present, of form, of incidentals. Find the concurrents of time and space, the aged vines of history forming upon the frames deemed familiar, and reflect the self and the other in the now.
